Kills Boro Brewing Company was first started by childhood friends. To save a few bucks, they brewed their creations at home which eventually turned into their passion and they opened a club called Pour Standards to create connections with others that brewed from their homes.

Gardner and Torres became friends with another club member who helped create fundraising for Autism Speaks. Here they met a restaurant owner, Lima, and they opened up a brewery. Eventually, they worked their way up to create Kills Boro Brewing Company in 2017.

This brewery and the Craft House share common spaces, which allows them to have a brewery taproom as well. They are the first and only brewpub on Staten Island.
