CraftHaus Brewery might be tiny in size, but it has the fastest-growing fanbase. Dave and Wyndee Forrest, a couple from the US, took inspiration from European breweries on their visit, and CraftHaus was born. The brewery’s open space, cozy couches, colorful furnishings, and eclectic environment gives a warm invite to all its visitors. CraftHaus initiated the concept of a taproom in Henderson’s Booze district.

On public demand, they opened the second taproom in the Downtown Arts District. The taproom in Henderson has large windows that let visitors enjoy the live brewing scenes taking place outside. Original Czech taps ensure optimal quality of beers by controlling the beer flow of all 24 different types of beers produced every day.

The brewery special, Belgard Stout, is made using Vesta roasters coffee. An absolute delight to the palate, this creamy dark chocolate beer with roasted cold-brewed coffee is rated highly on Untapped. Bad Beat Brewing

7380 Eastgate Rd, #110, Henderson, NV 89011

Nathan Hill started his brewery venture as a five-gallon beer kit. His friends, who were the first samplers of his brews, pushed him into growing his setup in the garage and opening up a brewery. Selling his house to finance the brewery business proved to be an excellent idea, and now his business, Bad Beat Brewing, has become a favorite local hangout. Set up as a clubhouse, the long wooden tables give the brewery a casual and laid-back vibe. The beer is made on-site, and the taprooms provide a selection of seasonal, limited flavors and year-round brews.

Known best for experimenting with Gose recipes, they have some interesting flavors in the taproom. Sunday Funday is made with pureed cranberry, pineapple, and orange, while the Morning Pay Off is a unique breakfast spout.

The pandemic halted their Star Wars and Star Trek-inspired events, but the trivia nights are still all the rage. Have a fun night at the Astronomy Ale Works while their 12 taps churn out beers, including the Second Star to the Right Caramel Apple Sour at 6% ABV, Hawking Hazy Pale Ale, and the Speed of Light Kolsch, among other favorites.

CraftHaus, Bad Beat, and Astronomy Aleworks, the three beer producers in the Henderson Booze District, are within walking distance.

Lovelady Brewing Company

20 S Water St, Henderson, NV 89015

Not only did it make them famous at school parties, but their love for beer production only grew from there. One of the four Lovelady brothers grew up as the former head brewer at Gordon Biersch in Las Vegas. The brewery has a medium-sized taproom. There are plenty of good ales to choose from, loads of games, and a pet-friendly patio. Their experimental flavors have given them some well-earned fame.

Paleo is one of the best peanut butter Porters around. Love Juice is a hazy IPA with a hint of lactose for just the right amount of sweetness. The 9th Island Pineapple Sour is a tangy treat; the Stardust is a fruity double hazy IPA that is aged using a blackberry puree.

The brewery is renovated from an old Bank of America building and has a vast industrial space. The garage-style doors roll up to display cheerful bistro string lights and an extended dog-friendly patio.

They keep changing the small-batch beers, but the brewery regulars Almost Famous porter and Bones Brigade IPA are constantly available. Chances are you’ll find something new and delicious to sample whenever you visit. Griff loves experimenting, and Flyin’ Hawaiian Pineapple and Freedom Peach are the results of those valuable experiments.

It is a casual meeting spot with long wooden tables and rolling garage doors that open up to an outdoor patio.
