This small brewery in Fremont, owned and operated by the husband-and-wife duo Jan Schutze and Priscilla, brews world-class German-style beers. The brewmaster, Jan was lucky enough to learn brewing techniques from his grandmother in Germany when he was young. DasBrew aims to run an environmentally responsible operation for their craft brewery by giving back to their community and providing a friendly workplace for their employees.
Their lively tasting room has eight hand-crafted beers on rotation, and more than 20 session beers, IPAs, and specialty and seasonal beers. They also sell growlers, kegs, t-shirts, and sweatshirts! The fun thing about DasBrew is their DasBeer Club, where members get free delivery service and a free Crowler of their GPA Rye with each order.
Barebottle Brewery Company
(415) 926-8617
Barebottle Brewery is Fremont’s best, award-winning, crowd-inspired craft beer brewery. This little hidden gem has a wide selection of beer: pilsners, lagers, west coast IPAs, hazy IPAs, pale ales, and many more. The pool table, arcade games, karaoke nights, and Tuesday Trivia add to the overall vibe of the place. They specialize in innovative brewing techniques using local ingredients. Since opening, they’ve added kombucha, winemaking, house-made sodas, and coffee roasting to their abundant offerings. The picnic-style seating provides an overall casual vibe.
Dream Waves is a light pale ale. Hazy Double IPA is brewed with tamarind, lime, coconut, and spices and dry-hopped with Citra and Sabro.
Faultline Brewing Company

Faultline came into being in 1994, and since then, it has done nothing but produce award-winning craft beers. There’s no better place to gather your friends and family and enjoy some tasty brews, watch live sports, and cheer on your favorite sports teams. The bar has spacious seating and more than 25 televisions for its visitors to enjoy.
Their distinctive menu offers a wide variety of food, including pizzas, burgers, breakfast plates, salad bowls, and more! Faultline prides itself on using only locally sourced ingredients to create contemporary eclectic-themed dishes that taste as great as they look.
ShaKa Brewing

The 3 Cs are essential to the owners of ShaKa Brewing. Craft, Community, and Care.
Craft: They take their craft seriously and are dedicated to making the best beer possible.
Community: They aim to bring the community closer with their craft beers and warm atmosphere. They are proud to be a part of Fremont’s community.
Caring: They care about their environment and donate a portion of their profits to local organizations.
Taking a bold decision, the owners of ShaKa Brewing started their operation during the global COVID-19 pandemic.
With their beer options of Red ales, Juicy IPAs, and pale lagers, they have the best of everything! With a 5.7% ABV, Sunnyvale is the perfect beer for cooling yourself off on a warm summer day. Brewed in the classic lager style, this single pale malt balances the traditional German Hallertau Mittelfrüh hops, resulting in a floral aroma and malty body.
Devil’s Canyon Brewing Company

There’s a party every Friday at Devil’s Canyon, and you’re all invited. A tradition that goes back 20 years, Beer Friday means kicking back and having the time of a lifetime for the whole community. It has everything from the onsite brewed fresh craft beverages to food trucks, live music, and more.

The Pub at the Hub!
Located at Argonaut Way, Jack’s brewing company uses innovative brewing methods and high-quality ingredients to deliver a rotation of delicious IPAs and ales. This brewery has gathered a decent following with a friendly staff, live music on the patio, and some tremendous in-house beers. Soothing music plays in the background while the current game rages on the TV screens. Trivia Tuesdays is a local favorite, with the bar enjoying a decent gathering every Tuesday night.
This family-friendly restaurant features the best burger in Fremont. Our favorite, Giant Cheese Steak, has a thinly sliced sirloin served on a hoagie with jack cheese, melted provolone, grilled onions, bell peppers, and sauteed mushrooms. Take your pick from the Hardwood Pale Ale, the crisp Jack’s IPA, Boys of Summer, or Grid Iron Amber.
Off The Rails Brewing Company
(408) 773-9500
Located on Historic Murphy Avenue near the railroad station — hence the name — Off The Rails Brewing Company is a fun spot to hang out. The building of the brewhouse has been granted the status of heritage architecture. Saurabh Dwivedi added another feather to his hat when he decided that being a tech guy, financial consultant, and home brewer weren’t enough, and he needed to open his own establishment. Together with his brewmaster, they write the recipes and brew them into delicious beers. Their five inventive beers are available in 16-ounce cans.
All their food is prepared by hand in an open kitchen using the locally sourced, freshest ingredients they can find. The Yardbird Golden Ale is brewed with purple sage and juniper, and Alani is a juicy IPA brewed with honey malt and mosaic hops. The Railroader ‘Brunch’ Burger has a beef patty, pepper jack cheese, bacon, jalapenos, BBQ sauce, and avocados.
