The fresh salty sea here in Cape Cod will leave you hungry for good food and thirsty for a cold, refreshing beer. We have carefully selected and listed the best breweries down below so you can find exactly what you need.
Barnstable Brewing is a family-owned brewery that Peter Connors began as a small home experiment. After gaining recognition in a competition, Peter decided to take his experiment to the next level. Soon, Peter and his spouse Ann Connor discovered an ideal spot on Cape Cod to turn their dreams into a reality. The idea immediately came to reality, and the world saw the creation of Barnstable Brewing. Their indoor dining feels just like your living room, putting you at ease, and their outdoor dining allows you to enjoy the scenery with your choice of brew.
The brewery is not only family-friendly but also houses some of the best beers on Cape Cod. Certified brewers have made all their recipes, and the taste proves it. There’s something for everybody’s taste, but we recommend sampling their Cape Crusher and Jesuit Juice, a New England IPA.
Cape Cod Beer
Cape Cod Beer was founded by Todd and Beth Marcus in 2004 in the former Hyport Brewing Company on the western edge of Main Street in Hyannis. Ever since Todd and his family came to Cape Cod in 1998, he has worked as the bar’s brewer. The couple started their brewery as a small delivery service which was in danger of being shut down. They purchased the equipment, relocated, and hired a few employees to revive their dream again.
Today, Cape Cod is a proud 2-story establishment with an indoor seating area, a taproom, live music, and an outdoor beer garden. They have plenty of board games along with foosball and cornhole, which makes your dining experience entertaining. We recommend trying their Cape Cod Sour Ale and Bohemian Pilsener.
Hog Island Beer Co
Hog Island Beer Co is a scenic spot on the Cape Cod coastline to savor a refreshing beverage. The locals came up with a unique name connecting the town’s history and the ocean. The desolate Hog Island, in Orleans’ Little Pleasant Bay, provides a view of Nauset Beach and the numerous dune shacks that line its shoreline. The pub has a spacious indoor seating area, and its outdoor seating overlooks the lush green fields and the vast blue ocean.
The beer is manufactured and supplied by the locals and is a source of pride. They also have live music and tours that last for 30 minutes and end with a sampling of three beers. We recommend trying their Summer Ale and Outermost IPA.
Aquatic Brewing has an urban, startup vibe and is tucked inside a recently rebuilt square on the eastern side of Falmouth’s main road. It’s a bar with about a handful of beers on tap surrounded by highly polished brewing drums and bundles of barley. The beer selection at Aquatic includes everything from a coffee-oatmeal stout to a Saison with hibiscus. They provide an indoor seating area with wooden benches that complete the whole pub effect.
The menu is anything but boring with unique drink names and flavors. The drinks come in various colors, and even the process of choosing is pretty exciting. For those visiting for the first time, we recommend trying their Highly Common Lager, and for a twist on an old beer, we recommend trying the Alema Hefeweizen.

After a long stroll on the coastline, the grumbling in your stomach will compel you to search for the best places to serve a hearty meal and a cold brew. This is where we come in. Our list has the select few places that we know you want.
Bad Martha Farmer’s Brewery
Jonathan and Peter founded Bad Martha Farmer’s Brewery in 2012 with a secret special clam recipe and beers brewed to perfection. These two beer lovers started with a dream to revolutionize beer. Sampling many drafts, they came up with the one that would kick off their venture with a bang! They slowly introduced the beer at baseball games, summer festivals, and private parties, where they realized their creation was a hit.
Their name stems from their motto, which talks about a little bit of bad mixed with good beer. With an aesthetic indoor and outdoor area, Bad Martha is an ideal spot for a date or a hangout with friends and family. The outdoor area hosts live musicians, various flowers, and a lush garden. They offer other entertainment such as yoga, paint nights, and trivia nights. We recommend trying their delicious beers, such as their Orange Isles IPA and Big Bad Belgian Quad. These beers can be paired with salads, charcuterie boards, and cheesy pizzas.
Provincetown Brewing Co
Provincetown Brewing Co is situated in Provincetown, Massachusetts. PBC is dedicated to producing high-quality craft beer and fostering a feeling of togetherness by recovering common, innovative American principles rooted in Provincetown’s unique geography. PBC was established on the liberal ideas that render Provincetown special.
They have a homely indoor setting with a couch and a wooden aisle behind which you can see your beer drums. This brewery is family-friendly and offers snacks ranging from sandwiches, chicken tenders, and nachos to desserts such as churros and sundaes. Their friendly and cooperative staff ensures that your food allergies and preferences are taken care of.
We recommend trying Bearded Mistress IPA and the Golden Hook Ale from their assortment of beers.
