The Atlanta Brewing Company was established in 1993 by Greg Kelly. The beer was produced using traditional brewing techniques and methods to remain true to its roots. Fast forward to 2020, Atlanta Brewing Company became an eco-conscious brand and introduced recyclable 6-pack ringers. They are committed to producing high-quality, innovative craft beers to give back to their community.
We recommend trying their year-round IPA “Hoplanta.” The aroma is fruity and floral, and the taste starts caramelly and fruity but finishes peppery and bitter.
Jeff, Joel, and Jonathan, the co-founders of Monday Night Brewing, started this venture by home brewing together to get to know each other better. As their relationship progressed, so did their love for complex and innovative brewing. They focus on core beer production, barrel-aged brewing, small-batch hoppy beers, and experimentation. From seasonal crafts to special edition hoppy beers, they have it all.
With so much to try from, their drafty kilt scotch ale is a must. The main ingredient is smoked malt, which imparts flavor and bitterness. It’s not overpowering at all; instead, it maintains a perfect balance between sweet and smokey.
The Second Self Beer Company was founded by Chris Doyle and Jason Santamaria when they were homebrewing together and working to make their dream a reality. They opened this brewery because of their passion for craft beers and want their community to do the same, i.e., follow their passions. It is a pet and kid-friendly facility where you can host events, parties, etc.
We recommend trying their Thai wheat American pale. It uses fresh lemongrass and ginger for a refreshing aroma and taste. It pairs nicely with Asian food.
Looking for the ultimate comfort place in the heart of Atlanta? Try Bold Monk Brewing Co., a restaurant, brewery, coffee house, and bookstore all mixed into one It is the perfect place to be yourself and connect with others. The brewery’s focus was to create a safe space for like-minded individuals to interact and engage. Everything is created to pair well with each other, from their indoor and outdoor spaces to dining areas and menus.
From wine and cocktails to beers, there is so much to try. We recommend tasting their attainment double IPA. It has a sweet malt backbone with a citrusy aroma. The mouthfeel is thick and heavy with sufficient carbonation.
The Scofflaw Brewing Company was founded by Matt Shirah and brewmaster Travis Herman. Both had left their corporate jobs to fulfill their passion for craft beers, which came to fruition in 2015. It all started in a basement but since then has been ranked as one of the fastest first-year expansions in craft brewing history, with more than 6,500 barrels.
Try their locally brewed basement IPA. It has a warm, citrusy aroma – very much like lemon peel, grapefruit, and floral hops. There are also subtle notes of malt and melon.
Enjoy authentic and funky flavors with a community that truly enjoys what it does. Head over to Best End Brewing Co. and indulge in the perfect plate and pint experience. Its mission is to create a welcoming environment for its customers, employees, and community where everyone can share their love for food and beverage.
We recommend their famous salsa shark, a sour goose made from white wheat, north star pilsner, and Munich, and tastes insanely good.
A restaurant, brewery, and distilling company all rolled into one; the New Realm Brewing Co. is the ideal location for your next hangout. The brewery was founded in 2016 by co-founders Bob Powers, Carey Falcone, and Mitch Steele. Its core principles include authenticity, creativity, high quality, and perfection. They offer everything from IPAs and pilsners to ales and funky stouts. Moreover, you can head over to the restaurant and enjoy freshly prepared local meals that are mouthwatering.
For an authentic experience, try their hazy like a fox IPA. It is unfiltered and double dry-hopped to provide juiciness and fruity hop aromatics. Pair it up with Birra tacos and crusted mac n cheese.
Shortly after graduating, Chris and Stephen Bivins founded Torched Hop Brewing Company. Their focus was to create an environment where friends and families could come to enjoy, engage, and connect with like-minded individuals. The brewery also offers brunch, food, and delicious gourmet meals to pair with your incredible drinks.
If you are looking for a fruity flavored drink, we suggest their hope-de-Leon IPA. It is perfectly balanced and has a nice fruity profile with a hint of pine and bitterness. Pair it with their cheeseburger, buffalo wings, and alcoholic gummies for the ultimate experience.
SweetWater Brewing Company takes you on an adventure with its unique and innovative craft beers and delicious food. This brewery was founded in 1997 by two college buddies because of their mutual love for craft beers and brewing. Their motto is, “we’re not here for a long time, we’re here for a good time,” so drink ’em if you got ’em.
We recommend trying their 420 extra pale ale. It is made with wheat, midnight wheat, and Munich and has an herbal, floral, and fresh flavor profile. Pair it with their lemon pepper smoked wings or honey BBQ wings.
