This winter wonderland beer cocktail was designed by Nat Harry, one of Bison's favorite mixologists and author of the awesome food and booze blog, Alpha Cook. Lump of Coal was created last year for a winter beer cocktail event, but we think it is tasty enough to drink all year round!
Lump of Coal
Ingredients
.5 Old Bardstown bourbon
.5 Leopold’s cherry liqueur
.5 Averna amaro
.25 lemon
2 dashes maple bitters*
1.5 oz Bison Organic Chocolate Stout
Shake all ingredients together vigorously, serve in coupe or stemmed cocktail glass.
*I used housemade maple bitters here, but you try using Urban Moonshine’s maple bitters, or just leave them out.
